In 2001, Donna Sue Groves wanted to do something to honor her mother’s love and appreciation for quilts. Donna Sue Groves and the Adams County Arts Council created the Appalachian Quilt Square Trail and this movement is now present in over 45 states and several countries.The quilt square pattern was chosen by Liz Lafferty to represent Agriculture in Adams County.
