first_imgBryant High School is serious about its students’ futures, and they proved it Wednesday with a commitment ceremony for seniors heading off to higher education or training programs. It’s an announcement seniors say they look forward to each year, revealing what’s next in their lives to their teachers, family, friends and faculty members.Whether the announcements came via handmade posters or a student signing under their chosen college’s name, many students said they wouldn’t be in this position without their family and the school pushing them forward.“The teachers and counselors work so hard to make sure we have the knowledge we need,” said future University of Alabama student Nicholas Pate. “The counselors work so hard to help us work for our future, get our career goals planned out, get our classes planned out. They work hard with us to make sure everything goes well.”In all, more than 170 Bryant High students are committed to a college, university or trade school.last_img read more
